Most would describe me as quiet, shy and conservative but I spend time in a lot of different places and environments and am comfortable in almost any crowd. A recovering workaholic I enjoy being busy but now try to also keep busy socially and “for myself” as well as working,.. for the past few years I’ve been getting better at living a bit more for the moment. With a diverse college and University education I teach part time at Portland State University in Oregon (River Restoration program), am an environmental consultant / project manager (primarily in Greater Vancouver, BC), and am involved in other businesses as well as a Professional photographer (and hobby graphic designer). I work out often (ball hockey, ice hockey and the gym) and go out often. I enjoy live entertainment (comedy, stage or music), like listening to live flamenco or jazz with a martini (or live rock or most music). I rarely (almost never) sit at home and watch TV alone. Although I live in Greater Vancouver (BC) I am there only about half the time. About 1/4 of my time is spent in Portland Oregon. I travel a lot for work and school (and play), usually within North America and very often locally in the Greater Vancouver, Okanagan, Shuswap areas of BC and in Washington, Oregon and California. I attend courses, workshops and conferences throughout North America. I keep fairly busy and as I photograph nightclub events, community events, charity events, bands and entertainers I am out a lot. Although I enjoy eating a quiet meal at home when with someone,.. I eat most meals in restaurants (often where I can enjoy live music). I have no kids and no bitter ex and I love my life. That pretty well covers it!
