smoke2seven formed at the end of 2001, they released their debut song in early 2002 called ''been there done that'', the track was promoted all over the country and reached ..26 on the official uk top 100 singles chart. They then had a break after heavy promotion of their debut single, but returned at the end of 2002 with a 2nd track ''envy'' this track took a while to be heard and the release date changed a few times but finally got released in early 2003, the track sadelly got little promotion and only stalled at ..79 on the uk singles chart. The band then put the finishing touches to their debut album ''Fighting Fire'' which featured many different sounds from pop-rock-R&B-Dance and featured something for everyone, the stand out tracks are the debut single ''been there done that'', ''stuck in this perdicament'', ''kinda unstuck'', ''no excuses (too late for sorry)'' and ''body like butter''. The album however never got released and the band split in 2004. Member Joanne Perry is working on solo material, she has recently gone to america to record some solo tracks with some top producers, and you can listen to four solo tracks from her on her my space page. The other two members walked away from the music buisness and are now working in night clubs and in office's. Look out for some of the unreleased smoke2seven tracks on this page soon.
