We are not promised tomorrow- we are not even promised the rest of today. All we as humans can do is accept that as a fact and cherish the moments we are still here for. Love will break your heart at some point in your life. But, remember how it felt when you go to break someone elses. Understand the difference between what is REAL and what is NOT. My grandfather is my hero. In fact- he will have a special dance in my wedding after the father/daughter. He's my "dancin' partner" and I'm his "sweetheart." My dad is the truest person I know. And my momma is my best friend. Change is good. And it's good to want things...but what I've come to learn in my time is it's better to actually HAVE them. Beauty is only skin deep, so don't let it BLIND you. Let go of the past and accept your mistakes. You cannot change the past, but you can change the future. When you find the one who melts your heart, tell them. I found the one who showed me it was okay to burn down the walls I kept around me. When love songs have a whole new meaning and sleep wasn't never so safe and comforting... you'll know.
