1973: I was born and raised in a small village in Chalkidiki, Greece called Stratoni.1977: First tv memory: Farah Fawcett skating with rollerblades in Charlie's Angels.1978:My parents buy our first (and last) record player. We are only allowed to play 33 1/3 records from the beginning to the end. 1979: Super cool mum asks the dj in our local disco about the title of that song which makes her son go wild on the dancefloor. It was “Let the music play” From Arpeggio.My disco cristening.1980: I fall in love with a cartoon.Jason from G-Force. 1981: I buy my first record. “Physical” from Olivia Newton John.A bit suspicious, I would say...1981: My dad brings at home the magazine "Taxydromos" (Postman) my introduction to the 80s.1982: Devastated I say goodbye to the Japanese animation of Heidi after 52 amazing episodes. I never cried more in my life.1983: Me and my sister spend our evenings pretending we are Coco and Leroy from tv series FAME.1983: I get my first tape recorder. My parents are concerned that I am getting too involved with Music.1984: I listen to Material Girl and become Madonna’s fan for life.1984: I realise I hate Krystle Carrington.1985: We move to Thessaloniki where I start listening to Italo – disco and hi energy (through pirate radio stations).1986: I meet my first best friend Alex . He loves the Eurithmics and his favourite Madonna song at the time is Causing a Comotion. Say what?1987: I start reading , a magazine with a fresh approach towards lifestyle.1988: Sylvesterdies. An artist beyond his generation and his times.1988: I love house music and my smiley T-Shirts. I go clubing for the very first time.ACIEEED! 1 1989: I see ”Dead poet Society". 1989: I LOVE "Downtown" Julie brown and Club MTV. 1990: I join the university; Department of Chemical Engineering in Greece. 1991: Just before i become 18, I discover the songs of Lina Nikolakopoulou.1992: A new magazine called 01 becomes the handbook of my generation.1993: Alex is the first to come out. We go to Mykonos and realise that gay is fab. 1994: A Gregg Araki's film helps me to come out. It is called "Totally f***ed up". 1995: Bored to death I join a university theatre group. I have a great time but I realise acting is not for me. Sorry Hollywood.1996: During a set of Litle Louie Vega I meet my first boyfriend.1996: I move to London for a masters course but I end up digging the dance scene with Manolis.1997: I leave London to go back to Greece in tears. Great memories include chatting up Ultra Nate and dancing to Tony de Vit sets.1997: Friend Dj Adonis introduces me the complilation “Jumping” – the red one. The rest is history.1998: I join the Greek Army and become an officer of Artillery. Madonna releases Ray of Light.2000: I finish army on 1 January 2000 and move back to London within 20 days. Is clubbing not a valid reason to come back?2000: I start my Phd in UCL again. Lazaros gets the award of my first friend in London.Congratulations.2000: I watch Sex and the city for the first time. The Episode where Carrie realises she is still in love with Big (2nd season you idiots!).2000: I meet Tony . We spend our Saturday nights going to Departure Lounge, Factor 25, Crash and Queer Nation because “that’s the type of people we are”. We get together for a year.2001: Break up with Tony and become best of friends. Maggie May is born this year.2001: I move to South East London for good.2002: I meet two of my very best friends Dimitri and Dany. Me and Dimitriget a place together the "Stisihorou" flat. We spend our time talking about nudity and art. Dany and I become best clubing mates (mainly at Beyond) and never meet during daytime until 2004.2002: Alexis (now an established dancer - biologist), Dj superstar vaso and me form the hi energy/punk band "Thees". We never produce a song but become a legend.2003: Childhood best friend Billy Q (not related to 80's pop star stacey Q )gets married. With me as the best man.2003: I become a Doctor of Philosophy and decide to try accountancy. I move in with Tony (as friends) and Maggie (dog) and Sindy (cat). 2003: Become an official member of "the secret Lia Vissy society" run by Pedro . 2004: New years day. After Beyond me and Tony end up at Horse Meat Disco (the opening day) We stay there for 9 hours; an unforgetable time.2004: Condascenda Taramosalata makes her debut in the Gay Scene Head Ofifce. I dress up as Robin for Teri's party and find out about my super-hero powers. The world is now safe.2005: Dany and me have a great time at Apollo in Barcelona.2006: I see Brokeback mountain and cry for 2 weeks.2006: I become the godfather to Billy Q's baby. His name is Nick, he is one year old and will grow up listening to the Beastie Boys.2007: Take part in the MySpace dramatic thriller "Desperately seeking Fallon" featuring the "wikepedia of high energy" Mr Spiro Colby
