Born and raised in Long Island, New York. His Majesty "THE POET" had a very challenging life. Taken away from his birth mother, Maria, when he was only four years old, he and his siblings lived in various foster homes all over Long Island. Roosevelt, Freeport, Uniondale, Hempstead, Lakeview, Huntington etc.... These were just a few of the towns that His Majesty lived in. Group homes, Children's homes & mental institutions prepared him for prison just like any other kid who's been thrown to the streets. At the age of 16, His Majesty walked away from the system and took his life into his own hands when the State of New York had nowhere else to place this problem child except Pennsylvania. He grinded out his path on the streets of Richmond, VA where he located his birth mother. Still not wanting to have a relationship with him, she put him out on the streets after only about 30 days. Having been a street cat all his life, His Majesty hooked up with a local drug gang and became engulfed in the life until Mr. Philip Branch, a local artist and musician helped him get out of the lifestyle and eventually out of the state. However, when returning to N.Y, he carried many demons from Richmond's death toll with him. Angry and determined, he ended up selling drugs again in Coram, NY. After rivalry, attempted robberies and constant police harassment, he left and moved to Springfield, Ohio where he now resides. His poetry expresses the pains and the loves that he found while on his life journey. He will always remind you. " I never write just to be writing. ", "If I didn't write, I'd be in prison right now, It's my release." Even though His Majesty still carries a volatile temper, he has found a new outlet one that we can safely be a part of.For reference: "Baywood Boys Group Home"
