I am hoping to complete another ten songs during this year, which I have in mind for quite some time...Hey everyone, my name is Anthony Rawlinson and I love, and I want to dedicate my life to performing.
I am singer - songwriter, dancer/ actor/performer. I love writing lyrics with meaning to what is occuring or that as happened in my life/or others.
I love performing live and discovering new ideas through performing. My dream is to be myself on stage, to be in broadway/westend amusicals, or to be a classical actor.
Apart from drama I love singing, and I am at the moment looking for something new. My singing coach is Joanna Astley who as done lots of work with professinal directors and professional actors- I reccomend Joanna Astley to anyone who wants to improve their voice.
It was in the summer which I was apart of Youth Music Theatre ( www.youth-music-theatre.org.uk )and I boarded at Chethams school of Music for ten days rehearsing and creating a new musical which was called ' The Last Tango '- It was soo good fun! Want to do it again....
In 2005 I was in the England Dance Team and in March/April of 2005, we went to L.A to compete against America and other countries.
I started performing when I was five and did my first performance at the age of six at a church hall in a small town called Heywood, apart of the Rochdale Borough which is greater manchester.
Since then I have performed in dance comps and galas such as Manchester Palace theatre, Manchester Opera House and the Blackpool Opera house.
At the moment I am working on some of my own songs and am coming back next year with a jazzy/musical style to singing. Doing covers from 'Chicago' 'Les Miserables' 'Chorus Line' and others....
I am also going to get more work from my agency and hopefully some auditions for role on televison. I have also got the main role in '1001 Arabian Nights' as Ali. It is a very old version and inspiration for Disney's Aladin.
I am hoping to go to sixth form for a vocational course level 3 BTEC in Performing Arts.
A new interest which came later on in my life, when I was around fourteen years of age was writing creative stories. I hope to complete one very long story in 2007!
In so many words I am: Adventurous, Daring, Creative, Loving, fair and loyal. Im still holding on for my hero though!
I used to use a lot of other peoples messages and sayings but now Iv final got my own message near my name.
