About Me

Spiro is a Central Coast based rock band with versatility extending to the genres of alternative, classic rock, and indie. Spiro draws from a wide musical background, while their sound is influenced by the White Stripes, The Who, Neil Young, Tom Petty, and The Kinks and many more.Singer-songwriter Ryan Ritchie supplies edgy lyrics and solid rhythm and lead guitar work. Ryan's style is impacted by his jazz band studies and keyboard skills. Brad Anthony takes care of the low end, bringing his brass band skills and roots influence to rock the bass lines. Drummer Chad Hinkle completes the group with his driving rhythms, soulful grooves and lifelong love of the drums.Spiro has recorded over 25 songs and performed at local night clubs, wineries, private parties, and smaller local venues.
Spiro has recorded at Avalon Digital Recording Studio laying down the track, "Blink of an Eye" for the SLO and Dysfunctional Volume IV compilation put on by New Rock 107.3 fm , as well as "Give Me Tonight" which was featured on the SLO and Dysfunctional Volumme III.
