I've been promoting gigs in the north east of england - mainly in Sunderland - since the end of 2003. My first ever gig was at the Head of Steam in Newcastle on december 21st 2003(the line up was Maximo Park, Oddshapedhead, Memo From Turner and Ponderosa). Since I've promoted under a number of names - PaintItBlack Promotions, The Sunday Sessions, Banquet, Grapevine Music - and promoted gigs at loads of venues across the northeast - Head of Steam, Telegraph, The Borough, The White Room, Independent/Bar 36, The Fish Tank, Pure/Voodoo Rooms.
