About Me

I am married to a great guy (Dennis)and between us we have six kids or should I say adults, and combined we have six grandchildren - five grand-daughters and a brand new grandson. Dennis has three children, the oldest is his daughter, Wendy who is married to Don and they live out of state, the middle child is his son Craig, who is married to KristieAnn and they live in town. The youngest is his son Keith who is married to Michele and they also live out of state. I have three kids also. My oldest daughter Nicki is married to Tim and they live in Tulsa. The middle child is my daughter Abby, who also lives in Tulsa. My youngest is my son Jimmy and he is stationed out of Baumholder Germany. He joined the Army in March of 2005 and is deployed to Iraq. He will be there for about 15 months before returning to Germany before his next duty station assignment. Throughout my life I have learned just how short and how precious life is. Everyone I have known has influenced me in one way or another. I love my family and I am so proud of my son.

Someday I hope to meet every single member of the SOS group. We have quite a connection - we are family. I also would have loved to have met Elvis Presley, but seriously I would love to meet people that would have only positive influences on my life.

Music:

I love Christian artists like Third Day, Amy Grant, Matt Wertz. My favorite song is Cry Out To Jesus by 3rd Day. I also like the Oldies from the 50s and 60s, (especially Elvis) and I love Country Music.

Movies:

Somewhere In Time, Same Time Next Year, Dirty Dancing, Titanic, Its A Wonderful Life, and movies like those. (Obviously I like chick flicks). I also like movies like The Little Mermaid, Cars, etc. I hate scary movies, and I especially hate James Bond.

Television:

7th Heaven used to be my favorite show before they switched to Sunday nights. Now I watch Extreme Makeover. I like some of the reality shows (I especially like American Idol). I also enjoy some of the game shows that are on in the evening.

Books:

Books written by Danielle Steele, Nora Roberts, Phyllis Whitney, and Anita Shreeve. I am a romantic and love to read feel good novels.

Dennis - for just putting up with me and loving me with all of his heart and being. My Dad - for being the smartest man I know. Chuck - for being you. You were the wind beneath my wings. Jimmy, my wonderful son - joining the Army during such a scary time. You will always be my hero.
