RAIN
The rain splatters as it smacks onto the ground
I silence my mind while I listen to the sound
I imagine each drop leaving from the cloud
Such a flight it makes traveling straight down
It seems it's only purpose is simply to fall, ...earth bound
And to land on little noses
But sometimes it brings frowns
As it collects itself on roses
Ruining plans of going out and about
All the while the flower blossom closes
When the shower comes down
Onto the lover's date it imposes
Turning them around
His diappointment approaches
But on this evening Love will still be found
Out the window she then notices
The earth is being drowned
She pulls him to the window

GUILTY CONSCIENCE
I watch all these other men
Behind this prison wall
And I learn the stories about
Each one's individual downfall
I find out alot are looking at
Doing some major time
Quite a few realize they've done
Some sort of a crime
Most without any reason
Or even any rhyme
I've come to know the person
And the man, and their motive's why
Now if the police saw the criminal
That I really am,
They'd let these men just go
And in their place I would stand
Their crimes versus mine
Are nothing in comparison
I know in my own conscience
That I should not go free
But that little secret'll be
Just between you and me
The evil things I did
That no one was around to see
Alas the judge of my own heart
Found me guilty

And do this punishment
