I'm a man of many interest but don't seem to have one that I do consistently. Some of my interests that I am willing to do anytime though are, (and in no particular order) Canoing, Kayaking, Martial Arts, Hunting, Camping, Fishing, Cycling, Eating, Backpacking, Hiking, About anything to do with the outdoors or sports and of course, long walks on the beach.
The Butterfly Effect, Gladiator, The Matrix, Groundhog Day, Pretty much all Martial Arts films.
Right now my favorite TV show has to be Fight Quest. That's right up my alley. Others are: Lost, The Closer, ESPN, FSW, ESPN2
Let's see... In 2007 some of the book I read were (and in no particular order) "Texas Tears and Texas Sunshine", "Ghosts Along the Texas Coast", "One Ranger", "Tales With a Texas Twist", "Muleshoe& More", "Ghosts in the Graveyard - Texas Cemetery Tales", "William Finaughty - Elephant Hunter", "Hyenas in My Bedroom", Death in the Silent Places", "Death in the Dark Continent", "Death in the Long Grass", and several more that I either can't think of or am in the process of reading.
This is a subject that I don't agree with a lot of people on. Policemen, Firefighters, Military Personnel and those that put themselves voluntarily in harms way I don't consider to be "Heroes". Although there are any number of heroes that come out of their ranks. To me a hero is the one that rises above the norm of life and achieves greatness in a way that takes either an unparalleled effort or endangerment on their behalf for the betterment of all. Some of my "Heroes" then are:
Lance Armstrong - Not because of his 7 TDF victories but because of what he's done OFF the bike.
Jessie Owens - I met him once. I was awestruck to say the least.
