About Me

Formed in 1994 when Li'l Bubby, Lightning Joe and Stickboy left their pre-insurgent country roots combo Factory Girl and joined forces with the rhythm section of West Bend's immortal Ernesto's Kitchen. Originally following Factory Girl's shit-kickin' Americana gameplan (ya should've heard its incendiary version of Jimmie Dale Gilmour's "Where Ya Goin'?"), the band had shed its y'alternative leanings (not to mention fiddle player Lightning Joe and original drummer Dink) by the time it recorded its debut disc in 1997. Not long after the disc was released, drummer Smoke bailed and was replaced by some cat named Nate , who couldn't hold his liquor. Enter The Bazooka . Unfortunately, her reign was cut short when the band disbanded in 1998 so Ernesto Che and Stickboy could move to Chicago and stink up the Windy City with The Returnables .
