About Me

We at the Yoyo like to have a good time in anyway we see fit. Generally, we enjoy meeting fun people, enjoying a refreshing beverage or three and letting it all hang out.We are a youth hostel with 24 7 hot showers, a good breakfast served till noon, free internet acess and free wifi for those of you with laptops, a spacious kitchen for all of your culinary needs, a TV room for chilling with cable and a dvd player and an awsome all bilingual staff.We are centrally located in the center of Valparaiso close to all of the main atractions, shopping and nightlife. Weve got no cerfew and we generally organize outings at night to make sure you have a good time and enjoy what is oficially the cultural capital of Chile.Our other interests include watching movies in the TV room, eating whatever people leave behind, dancing super sexy and ocasionally sleeping on the job.

Backpackers, students or fun people who need a place to stay in Valparaiso. A dorm bed at the yoyo costs 5000 chilean pesos with breakfast included. A double room costs 12000 chilean pesos and also includes breakfast. These are definately the best rates in town. You can make reservations by emailing us at [email protected] or by phone (56) (032) 259 1087.www.elyoyo.clGETTING HEREFrom the bus terminal, the Yoyo a taxi costs 2500 Chilean Pesos (about $5 US). You can also get there by public bus or on foot.BY BUS: Walk out of the terminal through the main exit on Pedro Montt. Take the 607 bus (towards the port, or to the right with your back to the terminal.) The bus will go about 10 blocks or 7 minutes before making a series of turns. Then the bus will begin to go up hill on Avenida Ecuador. Go three blocks up the hill and get off. The adress is 355 Avenida Ecuador and there is a big mural out front. You cant miss it.ON FOOT: From the bus terminal walk out the main gate and take a right onto Pedro Montt. Walk for about 10 blocks until Pedro Montt dead ends into the Plaza Victoria. at the plaza take a left and then a quick right, passing the Fallabella department store and continue down Condell. Walk for about 3 blocks until you get to Avenida Ecuador. Take a left on Ecuador and go up the hill. Stay to the right at the three way fork where to taxis and shops are. We are on the left and side about three blocks up the hill, 355 Avenida Ecuador. There is a big mural out front, you can´t miss it. If you get lost, ask anyone in the shops at the bottom of the hill for the Yoyo.
