W.P./A.D. records is a booking company that is focused on downtown White Plains and bringing something relevant to the White Plains area.We are currnently booking the wes pac space a not for profit leftist organization meeting room.We also book the Thirsty Turtle, and are looking into booking shows at Dooly Mac's, the White Plains arts building on Mamaroneck Ave., and Lazy Lounge.This will give an alternative to the usual bar crowd that runs through white plains and the Trump Towers vision of the city.White Plains is growing and although it lacks, to a large extent, an 18 to 25 population we can bring something relevant here.
W.P./.A.D records is also here to fill the void of the much respected B.C records, much like B.C came to fill the void of 4th dimension records. this is the 3rd line in that tradition and those labels and people we have so much respect for.
We will also be releasing comics. Artist so far include GI Dave(Corporate CEO) and Amy Beth(Secretary of Defense).
We will be focusing on booking touring bands in White Plains and opening up the scene also booking lesser known high school bands that never play. If you're some emo core metal thing from the Bronx don't bother contacting us ! if you make music from the heart and the soul or are trying to do somthing differnt or have never played a gig or your an 800 pound miget named Miles contact us.We also will hopefully help encourage activisim coming up around the Westchester area.We are an overtly leftist and political organization so deal !
