About Me
My name is Filippo Perfido, I am 36 year old and I currently live in
Milan, Italy. I am married w/ a beautiful Scottish girl called
Harriet (or Hattie, in real life and MySpace) and we have two beautiful baby boys called Dante Hadrian and Julius Ray. I work as an executive producer for Tv, but I am not ashamed
of it, for it pays the rent, and sometimes other stuff as well. I live for a number of things, including my wife and newborn baby, sex, watching and playing football, AS Roma, food, booze (I'm a very simple man), music, books, movies, work, daydreams of mayhem, and so on. I was born and raised in Forli', Emilia-Romagna, and when I was 19 I moved to Bologna, where I went to university and got involved in music. Back in the days, and w/ the help of some friends, I launched and operated an indie label called Gamma Pop, and had a chance to work w/ some amazing Italian bands and artists like Cut, Julie's Haircut,
Giardini di Miro', One Dimensional Man, Bartok, Giorgio Canali and others. Music gave me the opportunity to meet some great people and learn a lot of things, but it also did cost me a huge amount of time, energy, money and relationships. When I couldn't stand it anymore, I moved to Verona and started to work for a Tv channel called Match Music. I did a number of things since then, both bad and good, for the money and for the glory, and sometimes for myself, too. I really don't know why I have decided to open a page on MySpace. I guess it was my wife who turned me on to it, after my initial snobby
attitude towards anything that's slightly new and trendy. I can't really
say no to her. Anyway, this space is a map of the things I love and live
for, of the people I respect and share / have shared memories w/ and
about. I really don't have much to say or give, but who does, after all?
