About Me

I was blessed enough to marry my husband, Doug on December 17, 2005. He is my best friend, he shares my heart, he shares my dreams. I also have a wonderful, beautiful stepdaughter, Brynna. And now, God is blessing me with the wonderful gift of a baby. It seems like it has taken forever, but God has answered my prayers ad given me my dreams. I'm currently taking classes to get a degree in Elementary Education. Something I've wanted to do all my life and at one point I gave up on it for all the wrong reasons. Now, I've been able to go to school and slowly, but surely I will be a teacher.

I picked up an interest in photography about five years ago and enjoy taking pictures when I can. I also like to scrapbook.

Music:

I love music. All kinds. Well, I don't care for that screaming-can't-understand-a-thing-they're-saying-stuff. I could listen to music 24 hours a day. Especially worship. Music calms me, but spending time worshipping my Jesus is the most refreshing thing I can ever do.

Movies:

I like all kinds of movies. My favorites are probably westerns and classics.

Television:

Too much of it. Some of my favorite shows are: Friends, 24, Alias, , CSI, Without A Trace, The Unit, Greys Anatomy

Books:

I love to read. Usually just fiction though. I like mysteries the best.

Heroes:

I believe that heroes are the people that make a difference in your life. My number one hero of course is Jesus because he's made the biggest difference. My dad. The way he lives his life, through good times and bad, always reflects Christ to me. My husband. He loves me even when I know I'm driving him CRAZY. Lisa Tackett, my first grade teacher who is also a very close friend. My mom, her passion for God. Harlan and Teri Mullins, their faith in God never faltered, we may have lost the battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.
