AS ONE was a group of 4 guys that were from all walks of life living in Middletown, NY and in high school. We were all around the ages of 16-18 and living with our parents. Joe and Jim were high school football players part time and full time musicians. Practice was every day after school in Jims house at 4:00 pm. We seldom missed a practice. As time went on we started to get gigs in Middletowns Rock Palace, where we played with Biohazard, Sick Of It All, Uppercut,Killing time and any other band that was popular in the New York Hard Core scene. We played shows from New York City and as far north as Schenectady New York. We did a few shows with the great Murphy"s Law and Dougie Beans took a liking to us. He really dug the music and was amazed that we were a bunch of kids, and as tight of a band as we were. Dougie ended up getting us some studio time at Toxic Shock studios in New York City, a great little studio where the world known Bad Brains recorded. So history was made for AS ONE and "To Te End" was out!
It was our first demo and our last. After high school Joe joined the Army, Jim went to college, Jeff got married and had kids and Al, well he was just Al and disapeared to the state of Fla. got married and did what ever else that he used to do.
