Welcome, to the abysmal domain of Naghurah Cathal who hails from the unholy depths of Southern Ontario. The Solo Black metal project is named Avalbane, And my first album (The White Orchard) is under the works at the moment. An exact date for the release will depend on time management and equipment availability. Due to technical difficulties, it is uncertain when new material may be released. However, Thank you for your patience and continued support.
Background History:
Avalbane was created after the separation of myself from the band Crimson Reign in 2004. With leftover song material and new inspirations, I began to write new material for a self titled album with Celtic inspired roots. After much thought, The title "Avalbane" was discovered which is the Gaelic word for "White Orchard". My chosen surname is "Cathal" being the Gaelic word for "Strong in battle".
It is my desire to spread the knowledge of the lore of my ancestors and to create music from the blackest depths of the frost bitten north. It is my darkest wish that you may share my love for the genre and for the deeper understanding of what music is. My intentions are not for profit, But to keep Black metal music alive as best I can in it's full abysmal glory.
I would like to apologize formally for setting back the date but I respectfully wish to take my time to improve the quality of my work as much as possible. Thank you for the support, And may the Heathen Gods light your Path.
