Well, my name is Mardie, I have lived in Redmond all my life. Right now I am a student at Arizona State University and our football is pretty kickass this year. I'm majoring in BioChemistry and hopefully minoring in Spanish. I plan to become a doctor and take my practices abroad as a medical missionary. I went on my first mission trip to Africa the summer before my freshman year. We went to Kenya. I never want to stop going there. The happiest people and best smiles are found in Kenya. This last summer I was not able to go back to Kenya due to living in Arizona most of the year so I went on a medical mission trip to Mongolia. Talk about a sweet place. It's not really a vacation spot and to anyone who wants to go there, it's for the rugged, outdoorsy kind of person. The people are amazing and completely different from the Kenyans as you can imagine. It was awesome because it gave me a taste of the sort of missions I hope to one day lead myself. I'm not sure where God will take me next, I sort of hope Inida if not Kenya again. I wish to one day spend some time living in Greece, Italy, and my favorite, London. I'm a pretty dynamic person but simple to understand if you know me. I'm rarely serious and tend to goof off a bit too much. I guess I just try to find an aspect of fun in everything I do...I'm like an overgrown child. I also have a passion for horses. I am down to one very amazing horse, Simon, who I show in Dressage and Jumping. Most days my friends and I chill. We're pretty crazy...:D I also have a passion for music, though I'm nolonger instrumentally inclined I spend a lot of time singing...though never infront of people haha I hope to change that soon, I know some boys in a band who are recording in a studio that need vocals and I may still try out for them...I haven't had the nerve to sing infront of them yet. I love and prefer playing/watching sports unlike my friends. I tend to be loud, crazy, and a little goofey. I am actually pretty shy....hahaha well...actually yeah, but I open up pretty quick...Maybe a bit awkward and in your face at times...so I've been told but oh well, I like bein'real and that's just me. I also play soccer and attempt to play basketball. That's about all you need to know. Laters ;D
