Hi, my name is Marlin Houser and I'm an author /self-publisher/web designer. Nobody believes me when I tell them I'm the big 5 0. I was born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania where I lived with my three brothers and two sisters.
In high school I wrote many short stories. As a boy I delivered newspapers, worked at the neighborhood gas station and even painted a few houses. After graduating from high school I joined the US Navy and served three years.
During stressful times I found comfort in writing. Once leaving the military I worked in the steel industry until it's decline. It wasn't long before I found a new career with the telephone company. I also worked for one of the largest airline companies in America.
After retiring from the business world, I decided to try writing for a living. It has really worked out well. Now, I enjoy taking vacations across the USA while continuing with my first love, writing. I have two Children’s Chapter Books on the bookstore shelves at this time. My books are available everywhere.
