About Me

Cosmetique formed in late 90's. First single in 2000 "Lady Di Why did you Have to Die?" on PPQ Records. Cosmetique's first album: "I Was Born In a Disco Fun Pub....but now I'm choking on the dust left behind by the bandwagon" released 2002 on PPQ records. After recording a second album titled "The Lace and The Longing" with Justin/Cosmetique, I left London for Dorset and had my first child. All Cosmetique tracks have been recorded at HQ Studios. In 2004 myself and my Partner released "The Avant Gardeners" Album on Rim records. www.sextonming.co.uk We performed live at Conway Hall in 2004 at Resonance FM's birthday bash and have played on the radio several times. 1234 Records should be releasing a 45 recorded in 2004 shortly. All Avant Gardener tracks are recorded at home on a four track.I performed a spoken word track on St Etienne's Finisterre album in 2003 and got on stage with them at the Royal Festival Hall that year. That was the year I gave up working in a record shop being a "Hoxton DJ" and PPQ, and made moves to leave London.
