Can I ride my bike in the kitchen?

About Me

What to say...what to say. I love racing road bikes and getting muddy on the mountain bike, and being athletic has become a big part of my life. CX rules!I also love to cook, especially for other people...they seem to like it too. ;-)I love meeting new people and hanging out, having good times. I tend to enjoy a night on the town occasionally but am not a big party animal...not conducive to training. Mostly I just like being social and get togethers revolving around funny movies, drinks, or food.I tend to be kid-like at heart and love to laugh, but am also very responsible, focused and organized. I leave chaos for my free time and keep it together for the day to day life. Not sure what else to say...

My Interests

Cycling, cooking, great movies (comedies, independents, animated), great music (I love most of it), just hanging out and poking fun at people on the tv.

I'd like to meet:

A guy who is athletic, fun, has a sense of humor, loves all kinds of food (no veggies or picky eaters for me), and someone who has their act together. I love riding bikes, so if you're into that, then we might get along well. I really don't have a 'type', but like someone who is fit and takes pride in his appearance. I am not into the whole settling down and having a family thing, and am not very religious, so I would hope you aren't either on both accounts. As I have said before, make me laugh, take me on a bike ride and make me dinner and I am a pretty happy person.

Music:

Eclectic, jazz, blues, rock, alternative, you name it pretty much. I really like Galactic, Stanton Moore, John Mayer, Elliot Smith, Badly Drawn Boy, Gomez, Jack Johnson, Thievery Corp, Supreme Beings of Leisure, Zero 7 and many more. Mellow more than chaotic for life, chaotic and blood-pumping for training.

Movies:

Wizard of Oz is my fav classic, the Pixar anims are great, funny stuff with twists and turns in the plot, independents, not your typical blockbuster for me. Documentaries are stranger than fiction & fascinate me as well.

Television:

Project Runway, I love picking on the hos from Flav a Flav on VH1, don't really watch much anymore now that I don't have HBO or Showtime. I miss those. The only decent TV out there I think. Comedy Central is OK though, especially SouthPark, the Daily Show, Scrubs, stand-up, etc.

Books:

Nothing fun these days. Working on my CFA, so reading textbooks.

Heroes:

Too much to handle

It seems like I am always being picked on for being too much of something or another.  I am not skinny enough...or too skinny...too athletic...or not strong enough.  I am too agressive,...

Back from vacation and feeling good

I got back from vacation yesterday.  It was a long day of traveling, but not too stressful really.  I took it all in stride.  I was rewarded for checking work e-mail while I was gone......

Why do people have to ruin you out of being nice?

I don't know about you, but I was brought up to be respectful of others and, without being a pushover, to always be nice and polite.  It may not always be the best way, but isn't it how most of u...
