We are NOT the cheapest & when you call around asking about prices trying to find a bargain, remember you only have 1 body. You decide which is more important - is the 3 dollars you will save by going to a bargain basement street shop worth
1) the skin you give them
2) the incredibly HIGH risk of infection the shop has shown itself to produce
3) being hustled into a chair to have something put on you from some page on a wall ending up with not only a tattoo a thousand other people have, but one that doesn't even look as good as it DID on the WALL
4) being pierced with a needle not intended for piercing & a lack of technique on the piercers part that leaves you sore, bleeding, crooked & again quite possibly INFECTED!!!!!!
Do your research --you're online--check out the work side by side from all the studios in your area, notice the difference in line work, in shading, placement on the body, originality. See that are getting EXACTLY what you pay for. IF you have a $20 body, get $20 modifications. IF you are worth more than that, choose your artist based on the quality of their work, not the price tag attached. That $20 tattoo, $20 piercing, $60 home job--is FAR more costly to repair than it would have been to get it done right the FIRST time.
