Hi. My name is Paul. I have went to Thailand in 1994 to ride the elephants. Well actually one elephant at a time. You can read at my introductory page of Save the Thai Elephant how I chose that.

I liked it in Thailand and have been back many times.

I was to meet Sean Bunzick . At first it was culture shock and I didn't eat for three days. I thought I am not eating that food that I do not recognize cooked open on the street. Then we went to the laundry lady who was grilling meat. I had chicken and beef. It was absolutely delicious and it was then I discovered its pretty much ahrawy everywhere. Not to mention the new beers that I came to love.

In 2001, I lived in Thailand for 6 months and then again in 2002 for three months. I have not been able to get back since. So to keep me occupied, I started in June 2003 my website of Save the Thai Elephant .
I wanted to make a website to make awareness of Thai Elephants possible extinction and by selling things thru the website, I would contribute portions to Thai elephant conservation. I tried to provide a variety of interests. You can check out the index here .

If you like elephants and Thailand, then bookmark my website and MySpace and please shop Save the Thai Elephant and help support Thailand elephant conservation.
