ITALIANO: I Provetta nascono nel settembre 2001 con un altro nome (la versione inglese, Testtube88). Dopo un periodo in cui abbiamo suonato principalmente cover dei nostri gruppi preferiti (tra cui Blink 182, Green Day, Papa Roach), abbiamo iniziato a comporre musica propria, con le infuenze maggiori dalle band già citate. Abbiamo iniziato a calcare i palchi nel giugno 2002, ed abbiamo sempre preferito proporre le nostre canzoni ottenendo un discreto successo di pubblico. Dopo alcune date e concorsi (nei quali siamo arrivati sul podio) abbiamo deciso di registrare alcuni pezzi e nel 2005 abbiamo così prodotto il nostro primo demo-CD contenente 14 canzoni registrate in periodi diversi (3 nel 2003, 3 nel 2004 e le altre nel 2005). La nostra proposta musicale prende elementi da punk, pop, rock e metal.

ENGLISH: Provetta started to make music in September 2001, with another name (the english version, Testtube 88). After a period when we played some songs of our favourite groups (like Blink 182, Green Day, Papa Roach) we had the idea to write original music, influenced by those bands. We started to hit the stages in June 2002 and we always preferred to propose our music to the listeners, who seemed to like our choice. After a number of live dates around our province and a couple of bands contest (where we reached the podium), we decided to try the experience of recording some songs. So we produced in 2005 our first demo-CD, it contains 14 songs recorded in different times (three songs in 2003, three songs in 2004 and the others in 2005). Our musical direction takes some elements from punk, pop, rock and a little bit from metal; we mix them all together to make out fucking good music.
