________________Born and raised in Norway; Mixed with French and Norwegian blood; currently living in NY, studying International Business at Berkeley College. The most important thing in my life is my family. The love I have for my mom is undescribable; she is and always will be the number one queen in my life. I am who I am today because of her. She has taught me about real values in life, values that most people in today’s society seem to be overlooking. She has taught me the importance of self-respect and how only that one quality can make a colossal difference; not only in the way you see yourself but also how other people will perceive you and welcome you as an individual. She has taught me that there is no limit to what life can offer you it’s just a matter of living life to the fullest and while doing that not and I repeat NOT get caught up in superficial things. I am an only child, I am all she got and she is all I got. She is my heart and soul. People keep asking me; so why did you choose to move 14 hours away from her? And my answer is; from day one, my mom has put all her strength and effort into giving me the life she felt I deserved growing up, even though-for a single mom-that could sometimes mean sweat and tears. And I know that she did all of that because she wanted me to reach as high as possible (which is exactly what I’m doing); never settle for less, and most important; never be dependent on anyone-to be my own provider.
