Trevor Pike is a Canadian singer/songwriter/guitarist from the rugged and beautiful province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Born in St. John’s, Newfoundland and raised in Goose Bay, Labrador, Trevor’s musical style is colored with the traditional sounds of his Newfoundland and Labrador roots, the poetry and soul of a native son who has traveled and lived all across Canada, and the many musical influences that come with a life of living and learning music.
From his days as a student at Memorial University in St. John’s playing on the local bar scene, to Alberta’s oil patch playing house parties and cafés, to the pubs of Montréal with the modern rock cover band, Liverpool, Trevor has had his share of musical experience.
With those 20 years of playing experience, Trevor has arrived on the Halifax music scene with his definitive sound and style. His three self-produced and independently released albums, "Candlelight" (2003), "The Distance" (2006) and "Somnambulist" (2007) are testament to a unique style which encompasses folk, pop, blues and rock. Trevor is currently recording a fourth CD due to be released in June 2008.
