It Orkestar

About Me

It Orkestar, the Uppsala band no one knows but everyone hates. Over the year we have evolved into a much more improvised style; this is not recognised by our musical development, but our increasing laziness.

It Orkestar was created when Hampus and Jakob decided to start a band, and didn’t... Miklos joined the band, and at the first rehearsal we created the song known (and loathed) as MÃ¥nga Fler. Then, for like a year, we moved along at tectonic speeds, but kinda speeded it up when it hit us we might have to rehearse to actually be able to play at gigs and stuff.
We went on a hiatus (a.k.a. "wtf? were we supposed to rehearse?"), but returned stronger than ever, having changed instruments of choice, except for Hampus. Now we’re finally the shit... again... for the first time.
Also, we decided to be called It Orkestar.

I suggest, if you are interested at all, that you go see us playing at UKM (if we are), since we are much better live than recorded, so far anyway, because all our recordings have sucked @$$./Hampus
