S. Preston was formed in the spring of 2007. With a mix of originals and covers, you can catch them jamming through a night intertwining Funk, Rock, and Bluegrass. Their influences range from James Brown and Modest Mouse, to The Grateful Dead and Bob Marley. Playing as a trio the members of S. Preston are: Ed Dwyer (vocals and guitar), Pat Dwyer (bass), and Pat Salmon (drums and vocals).Focusing their energy on live shows, you can find S. Preston playing 2 to 3 sets a night at places like: Paul's Tavern (Belmar), Used to Be's (Mantoloking) , or McIntyre’s Pub (Toms River). Depending on the show, you can see S. Preston performing as a trio, or jamming together with up to 6 members!With over a year of playing, writing, and performing together, S. Preston is also looking forward to hitting the studio and putting together a full-length album with a release date of early '09. You can also get S.
