About Me

Welcome to ApparitionWorld. We have updated our songs on myspace. We hope you like them. Track 1, 'Frozen Roses' and Track 2,'Defenders of your faith' are both taken from the album 'Drowned in Questions' Track 3, 'The Dream Where I Cannot Go' is a brand new song and features new vocalist Fiona dueting with Annabelle on this piano based ballad. Ian makes his Apparition debut on piano/keyboards. Track4 'Forever Guilty' is also taken from the album 'Drowned in Questions'.
News

Since the recording of 'Drowned in Questions' both Annabelle and Jen have left the band due to other things in life they wanted to do. The girls were replaced by Fiona on vocals and Ian ..boards. Just before Annabelle left, she, Fiona and Ian recorded the featured song 'The Dream where I cannot go' which is on this site to hear.Annabelle and Fiona both shared centre stage for a few shows too. Apparition are currently recording 3 new songs and a video to go with one of the songs. These should hopefully be online before the end of the year. We have recently got ourselves a manager. Her name is Zdenka Kuncicka and she lives in The Czech Republic. She will i'm sure be a big asset to us as will Dalia Ortiz from Spain who runs our sister site Apparition Espana for our spanish speaking 'friends/fans'.
Biography
Apparition were formed in January 2004 but the bands roots go back to 1997 when as Asphyxiator they wrote and recorded the song The Pain Lives On. This song was a departure from Asphyxiators usual death metal style. Dave, the writer of the song and bass guitarist of Asphyxiator, wanted to start a melodic rock band. However this was not possible as singer Rebecca had moved away from the West Midlands area and the rest of the band just wanted to keep The Pain Lives On as a one off experimental track. Asphyxiator later split in 1998.
Then on New Years Eve 2003, whilst checking out a notice board in his local music store, Dave saw an advert put up by Jen, a local girl offering her vocal talents and keyboard/piano skills. Dave contacted her and after meeting they both knew that something special had been formed.
After forming a few ideas and building the basis of a few songs Paul, drummer from past band Asphyxiator, agreed to join Apparition. After then building on the ideas developed by Dave and Jen, Apparition sought after a new vocalist and guitarist. After much time searching they welcomed Annabelle and Rich to join the band.
Apparition signed to casket/copro records in January 2006 and their album called "Drowned in questions" was released in April 2006 .
