NORDICLIGHT

Using my own name as the artist's name, NORDICLIGHT began in winter of 2005 as the solo music of Yayoi Otsuka. When I was a teenager I first got into music. This passion for music led me down many roads… as a song writer in several bands, playing the guitar and keyboard as well as vocal work and rhythm machine. At that time, I was also working solo on and recording many "songs and fragments of songs". In 2004, my then current band broke up and I decided to pursue solo projects. From that point, I composed new songs and worked on putting down tracks. When my first song was close to completion, I named my music "NORDICLIGHT".
