About Me

Free Sofrito - Hope you do it right this time.
GNG™ Coming Soon - Revolutionizing the Retail World...
Same book - different pages.
For all who don't know me, and for all who've forgotten - my name is Kimani. I was born in New York, raised in Mount Vernon, Queens and Jamaica (West Indies), and finally relocated to Florida two years ago. I'm having the time of my life. I have great friends and family who make my life worthwhile; I have my cousins who know me like the back of their hands, and are always ready to party. I have my friends who are ready for anything, down for everything. I'm engaged to my high school sweetheart - it's been six years already - Louis Taveras is my lifesaver. I've got two strange (but great) parents - Rema and Tony, a hardworking, hairy brother - Steve, and a wonderful bean stalk of a little (no longer baby) sister - Cheyenne, who just so happens to be my muse. I love them all. I love to dance (I love to wine up myself), without music I could not function nor survive. I LOVE SHOESSSSS!!! {{Ask anyone}} I'm a humanitarian at heart - I love helping people as much as I can, however I can. I love to shop; buying things for others makes me happy, but buying things for myself makes others happy - because I'll be in the mood to buy them things... I love to sing, I love to write. I love to travel - seeing the world is one of life's greatest accomplishments. Without those things and God - my life would be pointless.
I've learned this past year that MySpace has become less of a place to meet people, and more of a place to flaunt the things that people just sometimes (not all the time) don't have. I like people who are authentic, so for all the counterfeits out there, please reconsider asking me to be your friend (if you even bother to read profiles, anyway)
I love open-minded people, if you're ignorant - do not proceed. I am a mutt-blood baby, so please leave your racism, sexism and intolerance at the door.
Oh, and by the way - There are some people out there who dislike me for various reasons. I don't know why, but I respect their decisions to not want my company, that's fine. As long as I can live my life without hearing your voice, and hopefully without seeing your face - I am okay. And I hope you feel the same. If you are reading this, you obviously don't. And I say good day.MySpace Comments

Jaz, you're not the only one with a sexy hair pic. See:

I'd like to meet:

My late Grandfather Owen Harris - I heard you have some good stories to tell... Thank you for giving me the "Beautiful Creature" known as my mom - Rema Rosalee Fisher. ********************************************************** Bob Marley for his brilliance, wisdom, and ability to make beautiful music through poverty, tough times, and a thick green haze. *********************************************************** Aaliyah - I loved her since Age Aint Nothin But a Number - I still love her now - singing to her was the first time my momma ever heard me really sing. *********************************************************** Jon B, John Legend, Musiq, Sisqo - R&B magicians.
Sizzla & Capleton - How the hell do you guys sing like that?
Eminem, Pac, Banks, Fab & a couple others - Dudes with great lyrics, and punchlines that leave a sting for days.
Baby Ranks: I would love to know how he talks in person, he has a wonderful singing voice.

Cool Slideshows

Music:

I've got a Hip-Hop Soul, even though Pop/Rock's in my genes. R&B runs through my blood, but Dancehall and Reggaeton are my heart beat. I like a bit of Bachata, you can catch me skankin to some Roots, but never Head Bangin or gettin Industrial. Can't get into that stuff.

Movies:

Borat! A Day Without a Mexican, Dodgeball, South Park Movie, Crash, Mr. Holland's Opus, Fantastic Four, X-Men, The Pursuit of Happyness - the list goes on.

Television:

CSI NY & Miami: Hot weather, hot bodies, hot cars and criminals. Perfect combo.Law & Order: I'd rather watch this than actually be in the interrogation room. People commit some crazy crimes.
Monk: Pure genius. I always knew someone hated germs more than me.
DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES - the highlight of my Sunday evenings.
Grey's Anatomy
Heroes. Period.
The Venture Brothers - must be the best show on Adult Swim! Genius.

Books:

Heroes:

My Grandparents - they raised a tough, crazy, quirky bunch of kids! That's all I need to say...
