Saved, Anointed, and Determined to win souls for the Kingdom!!-----------THIS IS AN ENCOURAGING MESSAGE FROM A GOOD FRIEND..THANKS!----------I know exactly how you feel Mitchell! Trust me I’ve been there, there have been weeks where my spirits were so HIGH I felt so close to God and I felt so peaceful then the enemy strikes. Remember when I was sharing with you how I slipped out of character one day and then I felt horrible after the fact...well I think its the same for you. We have a CHOICE! Believe it or not NOTHING can make us curse, act ungodly, or slip out of character but ourselves. We CHOOSE to curse people out & slip out of character. "It is our choices not our circumstances that brings consequences to our life". This means that we can choose our actions Mitch, we can choose to be a slave to righteousness and not to sin because GOD has given us the power to overcome sin. Romans 6:14 "Sin is no longer your master, for you are no longer subject to the law, which enslaves you to sin. Instead, you are free by God's grace." You have the power to overcome this and all that is to come. You had us read 2 Timothy and I personally learned a lot from the text. 2 Timothy 2:4 " As Christ's solider do not let yourself become tied up in the affairs of this life, for then you cannot satisfy the one who has enlisted you in his army." It seems like a lot of us are in the midst of serious hardships [much tribulation] and our faith is being tested. In the testing of our faith it will prove whether it is genuine. Incredibly it will draw you closer to God rather than drive you away, if it is indeed genuine. BE ENCOURAGED because GOD IS FAITHFUL! The fruit of the Spirit, available to all believers, includes peace and patience (Gal. 5:22, 23). It is only through the endurance of hardship that the much desired gift of patience blossoms. It helps us to understand the unwelcome events in our lives with more Godly understanding which also helps us to trust his ways and his timing. By trusting him rather than him changing circumstances we find his changeless grace and abiding peace.
