Originally from the north eating meat and potato pies most days, Lee’s musical influence came about through a brain transplant back in the early 90’s where whilst in theatre his surgeon who was listening to Carl Cox ’Live at the Pleasure dome’ got his wires mixed up in the final procedures sending 40,000 volts through Lee’s nervous system. This was a major catastrophe and marked down as one of the biggest medicinal fuck ups in history. The outcome was unthinkable causing a lesion to his new brain stripping him of all knowledge other than, strangely enough what was in Carl Cox’s record box. He also became accustom to picking up Radio Frequencies tapping into stations such as Don FM and Flex - without the need for a receiver! Astonishing stuff. And here we are now, a constant look of emptiness across his face with eyes that glaze into nowhere. Only when he hears the sound of a tightly compressed kick drum piercing through a loud speaker at 128 BPM does he shoot back to life. Having gone through a series of tests doctors have concluded that in order for Lee to live a normal life and stand a good chance of regaining full brain functionality he must listen to this repetitive sound religiously, day in, day out, night, eat and sleep otherwise could face some serious health implications. So this is what he does. Oh and his love for pies has since diminished....
