About Me

I am a very strong, resilient and kind person who is just as beautiful on the inside as on the outside;I give respect so that it may be returned to me; I love my family and it means the world to me that I have them in my life; I am not very talkative and I am shy most of the time; I have my moments when I can just talk it up; I've been in love once other than with Christ; I've lived with SLE(Lupus) for over four years; I've been given a second chance at a very close to normal life by receiving a kidney given by my oldest sister; God has blessed me tremendously and no one will ever know like I know what he's done for me; I am a witness to what just a little bit of faith can bring you through; Each day I feel God's presence in my life growing stronger; I pray that I recognize the man that God has for me when he presents the man to me.

My Interests

My passion is doing anything artistic or that has to do with design. I like to attempt to play tennis, attempt to rollerblade on the board walk at the beach, sing, write in my journal, go to church, watch tv, drive home to SC to visit my family,talk with or hang out with my very few friends in VA and SHOP SHOP SHOP.

I'd like to meet:

One day soon I'd like to meet a strong but sensitive, God fearing, self-respecting man who respects his woman and treats her like his queen so that in return she will treat him like her king.

Music:

I love listening to Gospel, Soul, a little bit of R&B, some Pop/Rock and contemporary here and there.

Movies:

Love Jones, Sweet Home Alabama, Coming to America, Pretty Woman, Life, Bad Boys I & II, Brown Sugar, Waiting to Exhale, Wedding Crashers, Meet the Fockers, Norbit, Boomerang, and lots of other good romantic comedies, action, drama and horror

I love to watch Girlfriends, All the CSI's, ER, The Wire, America's Next Top Model, CBS Soaps, House, Entourage, Law and Order SVU, The Game, Everybody Hates Chris, NipTuck, Ugly Betty, Real Time w/Bill Maher, Desperate Housewives, Criminal Minds, Run's House, Reno 911, Oprah, Mind of Mencia, TBN, Wild n Out

Books:

I don't like to read much but I'm trying to get into it.

Heroes:
