Music is my first love. If Electronica were my wife then Reggae would be my mistress. I spend a lot of my time listening to and discovering new tunes. Additionally, Conversation is the fruit of my life. I like to know what's going on with the people I care about. I love adventure, anything new. I love to EXPERIENCE life. It might sound cheesy, but you only live once and I plan on living life to the fullest extent possible. I'm a bit selfish and tend to be blunt, but if I don't think you're a complete dick- no worries ;-) Other things that fit my fancy are: tossing a Frisbee whenever I find a partner, cook outs in the summer, going to a lake/beach to enjoy nature's coastal beauty, eating fine foods, wine wine and more wine, watching an exciting soccer game, playing guitar (have been for 6yrs now and I'm still trying to be a rock star, ha!), pretending I'm a responsible adult, watching movies, ice cream truck music, working out, philosophical introspection (fo' rizzle), coca-cola, the spontaneous exhibitions of randomness, and loving every moment of being a closet bohemian beach bum.
Well, it's a long story: I have one turtle named Puto. I had two but Cabron ran away when I was in Puerto Rico for Christmas. When I got back I found him on the floor of my apartment, dead. He was crispy. It's probably because he didn't have water. I can't believe he ran out of the tank! He wanted a better future but he only acquired death. He shoulda asked. I would've let him go. So, now its just me and Puto :(Cabron, wherever you are, I LOVE j00!!!!!!!

I'm a music snob. If I don't like it, I'll tell you. On the other hand, if I do like a song you won't hear the end of it! lol I have 3 major genre's I listen to on a regular basis. I'm into 'Roots' Reggae and Spanish Reggae. Mostly stuff like Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Steel Pulse, Burning Spear, Los Cafres, Cultura Profetica, Ska-P, Manu Chao, Cidade Negra, Isreal Vibration and Los Pericos. I love 90's Alternative- Bands like the Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Foo Fighters (anything that David Grohl touches is golden), Silverchair, Radiohead, Nada Surf, Incubus, 311, The Beastie Boys Placebo, Deftones, Tool, Green Day, and the Butthole Surfers. I'll also include a wide variety of Spanish Rock in the mix like Robi Draco Rosa and Mana. More so, I have my current entertainment: The Killers, Interpol, Bloc Party, and (of course) yo mama. Finally, there's my Electronica. My love for it ranges on a very wide spectrum. I enjoy Dj's such as Erik Morillo, Dj Dan, Fatboy Slim, Steve Porter, Paul van Dyk,James Zabiela, Sander Kleinenburg and old school Tiesto and Ferry Corsten. Indeed- I also quench my musical thirst with sub-genre's like Trance, Tribal-House, Progressive, Drum&Bass, Jungle, Ragga, Breaks, Chill-Out, TechHouse, Psy-Trance, Ambient and Techno. And By the way, I can't go on with this rant without mentioning some oldies, mostly stuff from the late 60's and 70's. Give props to The Beatles, 3 Dog Night, The Doors, The Kinks, Led Zeppelin, and The Rolling Stones. Ultimately, music exemplifies the truth of this world. Whatever truth you hold dear to yourself can always be found in a song. The beauty of music lies within the discovery of a song you can identify with. It's one of life's little pleasures that just means so much. ;-) Javi's Video of the Day This band has flavor and spice. Think of a moment of peace, a moment of inspiration- and this is a song that might come to mind. It's one of those tracks that propels the mind into a fury of thought. Deep lyrics, great multi-dimensional video... what else could you ask for, damm0t?!Doves- Snowdenvideo by Midgets Inc.
I won't lie. I like those sappy romantic comedy movies. Anything that shows me that TRUE LOVE does exist!! *gasp*.... I'm down for it. I like fun movies. Something that won't scare the living shit out of me. I'm not into being scared for kicks. I'm also a nut for independent & foreign films. Maybe I shouldn't categorize them as such, but any film that makes me critique my own life is a movie worth my wild. Favorite Films: Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Stardust, Cashback, both Ice ages, The Lion King, and Paris Je t'aime
I average maybe an hour of television every other month. I don't like to watch TV. It sucks your essence and never gives it back. I like to create my own reality, not watch someone else's. I do admit, however, that I spend a lot of time on YouTube and Tv-Links, which are mere portals to shows I actually care about. This prevents the casual forcing of advertisements down my throat. So, in those few hours of watching 'my computer screen' and the like, it goes a little something like this: I love watching Stand-Up comedy and improv (always have). The Sopranos and Family Guy are quality. Anything that is educating will always catch my attention. For example, the history channel doing a ..ary on Egyptian culture or Nomadic tribes would definitely peek my interest. Essentially, I love to learn while I vegetate. Furthermore, the car chases and co-ray-zee police videos aren't too shabby either. Watch out for COBB COUNTY POLICE people, they are everywhere!!!!!! And finally, any sort of animal film, cosmic evaluation, or natural event makes my inners quiver. Lately I've been watching Planet Earth and HOLY CRAP it's amazing.
Randomosity- Before Sunset Preview: If you know me at all, you know I'm a romantic at heart. This movie and the one before it (Before Sunrise) altered my life forever. At age 14 I was wise enough to know that there was something so surreal out there, I could not explain it. As far as I know, this is my perspective on love. Love exists. It's out there, dammit. And I'm passionate enough to find the magic.
Futbol Fun If you have the time and you enjoy futbol as much as I do (yes, soccer for zee Americans) then watch this! It's the top 50 goals of all time! 22 minutes of goodness. And it gets better and better as it counts down to number one. So, my minions, enjoy!
I like the song and thought these girls did a good job at following the video. Ummmm...and they appear to have nice bodies. :p

Lately I've been reading the Wine Bible. It's a very comprehensive and detailed book on wine. And let me tell you, VERY detailed lol. I also dabble in a book on travel and the top things to do around the world in every month of the year. It should prove to influence my next vacation. Other than that, there is more to read out there. I'm off to discover. Excerpt from W.H. Auden's "As I Walked Out One Evening"The years shall run like rabbits, For in my arms I hold The Flower of the Ages, And the first love of the world."But all the clocks in the city Began to whirr and chyme: "O let not Time deceive you, You cannot conquer Time.""In the burrows of the Nightmare Where Justice naked is, Time watches from the shadow And coughs when you would kiss.In headaches and in worry Vaguely life leaks away. And Time will have his fancy To-morrow or To-day.
My Dad and My Mom.Couldn't have existed without them!Other than that, I don't feel there are any hero's.... just moments of inspiration.Be your own hero. Impress yourself. and enjoy every moment of the natural dichotomy of up's and down's. ;-)
