I sleep eat and breathe music!!! As record label CEO, singer/songwriter, booking agent, manager and more there's not much that I don't do. Having grown up in the music biz, I've had the fortune of travelling the world with my mum through her music, who I can proudly say is UK Soul Legend Jaki Graham. With the doors that she opened and the records she's set, then music really is where I was destined to be. However my stories slightly different as rather than going down the route of becoming a 'singer' which is what everyone expected, surprisingly and possibly stupidly, I have a love for the business side of the game and with my pops being mum's manager for the last 20 years then I've seen a lot, been through a lot, learnt a lot and want to make a difference! (Thanks for the years of guidance folks). Having set up a record label and with Jaki's 20th Anniversary triple album dropping shortly that's taken up a lot of time and a lot of focus but now that it's almost ready for the world, question is...... is the world ready for me?!! Currently I'm in the process of working on my album which should be ready for you all by summer 2007 so for all those talented producers, singers, rappers and musicians out there who want to try a little something something then I'm looking for some good people to jump on board. I'm a true believer that if you have a talent, whether it's one or many, then go do them all!!! Most importantly DON'T let other people around you put down your dreams and DON'T expect the ride to be easy. If you're prepared to put in the sweat and tears then anything's possible if you're not then stick with the 9 - 5 as we don't get anything in this world for free. So in a nutshell I'm an all-rounder, don't want to pigeon-hole myself as being just one thing, and want to be a role model to many so that one day I too can look back and know I opened doors and made a difference xxx
