Shriner: The girl who plays the stand-in Laura, Brenda Partello, is really good. She really stares out the window, even during rehearsals. That makes it easier to play those Shadybrook scenes, because you feel this is what Laura would be like in her catatonic state. So, since 2004, every time you see Laura Spencer in a rocking chair - that's actually me. I've done stand-up at The Comedy Union, The Comedy Store and the Ha Ha Cafe. I've also been taking improv at The Empty Stage and IO West.
