About Me

Took this good whitetail while hunting elk last week. It is amazing how these deer thrive all over the country. He was living(and chasing a couple ladies) at almost 6000 feet elevation. Adeline and Secora out helping Mom and Dad fill the freezer! Here is my Montana Shiras Moose. It took 23 years to draw a tag and it sure was a lot of fun! Not as big as the Canadian moose we take, but nice to top off the "moose slam!"
Myspace Layouts I am a 36 year old donut eater (police officer), outfitter, guide and I live to hunt and be in the outdoors. I am born and raised (so to speak) in west central Montana where I grew up hunting deer, elk, bear, mountain lion, and upland game birds. I also enjoyed trapping in high school and have trapped in Alaska. I have two daughters (Secora and Adeline) and a son who have inheritted my passion for hunting, videoing and photography. My wife Denielle does not like to be behind the bow or rifle, enjoys going along and is proud to see her girls out hunting and videoing with their Dad.Secora on her first elk hunt with Mom and DadAdeline catching all the action with the Canon XL! Great start for being 7 years old!Secora sporting her new Mad Dog Gear!Me and Duncan the little hunter man. I started videoing hunts when I was in high school back in the 80's and Gonewild Outdoors is something I dreamed up a lot of years ago.A few years back I had the logo put together and registered and it sat for a long time. With the help and hardwork of Andrew Gue this thing is taking off. I hope to be able to include many people in this little venture and introduce a lot of people to hunting and the outdoors through our dvd's/video's and someday maybe some tv spots. I have been lucky enough to host hundreds of bear and moose hunters at my outfitt (www.lostrivercamps.com). Our camp has been featured on the Archer's Choice and will have shows on this year with Double Bull Outdoors, The World of Hunting, and Jim Horn of Primos on his new show being sponsored by Simms.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I have been so lucky to meet so many great people in my life. I guess the top of the list is to meet Bill Jordan. I admire his vision to look at something he loves and turn it into a life long passion and business, he has a reputation of being the hardest working man in the outdoor industry, but yet is known for being a family man first, and taking care of the people around him. We all could learn something from that. Too bad Michael Waddell was afraid of bears,I would love to meet him and would love to have him up hunting sometime!LOL
