LA SEVERA MATACERA BACK IN NEW YORK

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4After 6 months in which the band promoted their music at the most important venues in Los Angeles, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Venice, Orange County and San Francisco the time came to visit the Big Apple.Terraza Cafe an alternative bar in Queens, NY, which has presented before bands like I.R.A. and Skampida in their noble objective of supporting Colombian rock invited LA SEVERA MATACERA to play on September 22nd and 23rd of 2006 sharing stage with Momposonica and Clubber Lang.Previous to the Queens shows the band was also at Midway in Downtown Manhattan.The band showed live the new songs that they recorded in Los Angeles as well as their classical songs from the record Cuando La Gente Se Pare and some other surprises.For june 2007 the band is preparing to be back in New York to finish the New Album with the support of Pachamama Culture and by the hand of Kevin Batchelor (Skatalites) as musical producer.The band is already invited by Mr King Django to be part of the Version City Parties in July at the Knitting Factory in New York and also record a couple of songs for the Version City Sessions.Hope to see you again at the shows, we´ll let you know dates when confirmed.
