We are a family-oriented group of Witches/Wiccans/Pagans and those friendly to us, who practice the Old Ways in the Sacramento area of Northern California.
Everyone is welcome. We are looking to create a place for all to post and find out about upcoming events and local resources.
There are many Solitaries within this group. Friending us does not necessitate doing anything except perhaps sharing information.

Imbolac, at 15 degrees of Aquarius, is the Feast of the Waxing Light. This is the time of beginnings, when we celebrate the light of inspiration. Our celebration is characterized by the lighting of many candles so that the Sun will see the welcoming flames and return more quickly.
Please bring a dish for the Potluck Feast after the Ceremony, and bring your own non-alcoholic drinks. We are a "Dry" Circle. No alcohol will be served. Plates and utensils will be provided.
We are asking for a $1.00 voluntary donation per person, to help us defray Festival expenses. There will be a Raffle during dinner to help raise funds for future events. Donations for the Raffle are always gratefully accepted.
Babies and children are always welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Help us make this Imbolac Celebration the best ever!!!

Wicca/Witchcraft Study Group -- Autumn 2006
Thursday Evenings -- 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM

We will be starting new classes on our Tradition of Wicca/Witchcraft on November 9, 2006, that will run on Thursday evenings. There are still several spaces available. We meet at the home/office of Belisama and Manannan.
There is no charge for any of our classes or workshops, but you will need to supply your own 1" binder, writing materials, craft materials, etc., and will sometimes be asked to help provide juice and cookies, or Pot Luck fare if you are able.
We will be covering lots of information: Watchtowers, Elements, etc. with practical experience in Invocations and Rituals. Meetings will start at 7:00 PM, will last approximately two and a half hours, and may include handouts and a Meditation or Ritual.
There will be some Saturday or Sunday classes on Robe-making, Altar cloth painting, Wand-making, incense-making, and other Witch skills, plus we try to hold occasional Group Past Life Regressions. We may also be doing a few Nature walks.
I ask everyone to attempt to read True Magick, by Amber K and The Truth about Witchcraft Today, by Scott Cunningham at some point. Both books together can be purchased for under $10.00, or might be available to be borrowed.
