Psycho Circus began in Upstate New York in 2000 when two hard core kiss fans, Mike and Dave, got together and started working on learning every KISS song they possibly could. Mike played lead guitar and Dave bounced back and forth between rhythm guitar and drums. In 2004 Rob Bishop joined the band as a temporary fill in bass player then shortly after was inducted as the permanent Gene. Dave became Paul and Mike stayed as Ace. In 2006 Rick Dumas got the role of Peter after an extensive search for the perfect drummer. The Band has since been working extensively on perfecting the look, sound and feel of KISS. Psycho Circus features Alive I era costumes with an extensive Light Show, Piercing Vocals, Blood Spitting, the trademark Smoking Guitar and Confetti Cannons. Pyro is also available where venues permit. Psycho Circus' set list covers songs from the 70's through the 90's. Classics like Detroit Rock City and Firehouse to songs such as War Machine and Ladies in Waiting. Currently there are about 30 songs in our repertor and more are continually being added. The band had spent most of 2005 playing out at small venues to work the bugs out and to perfect the show. Since then Psycho Circus has evolved into the upstates premire KISS tribute band, playing at some of the best venues in upstate New York. Psycho Circus' motto is "Rock And Roll All Night And Party Every Day."
