I am a jamcruise addict.
A four time Repeat Offender.
I am happy.
Last year I got engaged while on jamcruise- actually it was off the boat on a private beach on the Turks and the Caicos Islands. And this year- well- we just got married. And now I am really really happy
We booked our room for next year while on our honeymoon in St Lucia. Talk about a jamcruise addiction... We took a canopy zip line tour in St Lucia like we did in the jungle and mountainside of Roatan, Honduras. Went snorkling every day and swam with sea turtles, 48 squid, and even a barracuda. Best honeymoon EVER!!! It is a pretty darn amazing and incredible experience to get married to the one you love.
Besides jamcruise, I love almost anything to do with music or relaxing and enjoying life around me.
And I especially love tequilla. Last year at a music festival I saw a tshirt and a bumper sticker that said "Live the life you love". It has changed my life. Seriously. who would have thought a tshirt slogan could do that? Anyway, turns out that I can work music and travel into my life and love the life I live... So, I travel great miles to see and dance to good music. Over the last three years, I have gone to St. Lucia, Roatan, Honduras, Cozumel, Mexico, the Turks and the Caicos Islands, Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the Grand Cayman Islands and Costa Maya. I also spent two weeks in Europe and went boating in St. Tropez in the South of France and spent a week exploring the canals and museams and shops of Amsterdam. In the US, I have travelled to see music in New Orleans (Jazzfest) as well as to see (or work some music fesivals with our local microbrewery StarrHill)in Virginia (Floydfest), North Carolina (STS9 Re:generation), Tennessee (Bonnaroo). I also enjoy seeing music in Charlottesville- who wouldn't with so many different venues and local musicians now?
I moved to Cville just about 10 years ago and have never regretted leaving Indiana. I came to visit a friend from IU who was going to UVA one summer, went hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains, explored the downtown historic walking mall, saw George Clinton at Trax, got a job as a waitron at a local bar, and set up Virginia Residency. So, basically I love Cville- it has so much to do and see and is in a great location. I went "back" to school at UVA, got my nursing and masters degree so I can teach pediatric nursing clinicals, and started working as a Pediatric Nurse at the big ol hospital. Just celebrated my "10 years" there. Wow! So I basically spend my time balancing life at the hospital as the discharge coordinator and life outside camping and seeing music and travelling and planning my wedding. Ahhh... take it from me- everyone should live the life you love....
Did I mention that I like Tequilla?
