People who will cook me ribs. Unfortunately if we've never met, I probably won't accept a friend request (unless you cook good ribs). I'm not a snob, this just seems like such a strange way to "meet" new people.
Also in no particular order: Chalk Farm, Shane and Shane, Chris Tomlin, Counting Crows, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Stu Hamm, Orangebananermen, Derek Webb, Willie Porter, Leeland, David Crowder, The Temptations, Lamp Mode, Victor Wooten (with or without Bela Fleck), Blues Traveler, Stevie Ray Vaughn, U2, Earthsuit, P.O.D., Bootsy Collins, Adam Nitti, Charlie Hall, I can't bring myself to like Wilco (eventhough all the cool kids are doing it), Sam Cooke, The Guess Who, Various funk/jazz bass guitarists, Phil Wickham, Pearl Jam, Evan Wickham, Aaron Shust, Dream Theater, The Sanguine Penguin (okay, I made that one up, but no one's reading this crap anyway). I, like most, I'm sure, like music that sounds good. I also admire great musicianship or great instrumental skill. I further admire someone who does more than rhyme in pitch, but has something about which to sing, and does it skillfully.
Kung Pow - Enter the Fist, Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grail, Tommy Boy, Luther, and any Mel Brooks films that Brad accuses me of liking. That's pretty much it.
With a deer-slug in the screen. Um, seriously.
Several and varied. So much of our stuff is in storage right now since we're nomadic. However, I will say one that I've recently finished called "Here Speeching American," which I am borrowing from my brother, is a smash. I also started "The Bondage of the Will." It's simply fantastic.
I like putting strange videos here, but it messes with the mojo on my page.
