Frio/ II Kold Syndicate

Who is Frio? A lyricist out of Fort Worth, TX and is very much active in the music industry. He has seen it all and been through it all. Started off in 2002-2003 with a friend by the name of Mike aka E Dubb/Ecco. Nothing but freestyling, but really caught my interest. I made up the name DJ Boon and started using that. Made two or three songs, nothing big. About 2004, clicked up with Krazy K from Ghettohouse Records. Recorded my first real songs with them. Converted to the name Sylent. Did concerts at Black Cats and Vipers. Toured to New Mexico and had a huge ass show out there. Did a show in Cleburne. So did some pretty big things. However, things did not turn out to be that great. We stopped seeing eye to eye so I had to kinda do my own thing. It was hard at this time, but I still tried to make it work. Used the name Xplycit and tried to create some songs, but it wasn't the same. Why? Who knows... But one afternoon in 2006 while at Traders Village, I bumped into Street Messiah and Kilo Artefacto. They had put together a group called Bajo Mundo Projex. I decided to start coming around more, learning of the hip-hop culture and really getting into it. I changed my name to Frio so that I could come up with an entirely new concept. Met a lot of new faces and got to get back into what I once started. Put out the BMP Volume 2 CD and had my first song with them. But internal issues started happening, and the group disbanded. I stuck around with Street and did the 7th Sign Entertainment thing with him for a little. But by that time, I was focused and all on my own doing this music thing big. Me and G Man had a little reggaeton period for a little while, but that died out and hip hop started taking over me entirely. I kept the name and kept doing my thing going to Joe's studio to records killa hits. But the 7th Sign label just wasn't for me. It was not going in the same direction that I was going. So I left as I decided to get with the one group that I have always seen as a sucess and someone I idoled since the early KNON days. II Kold Syndicate. Now, with my family by my side, can't nothing hold me back from the energy Im about to unleash on this music industry.
