Michael Syfax is a Detroit bred entertainer ready to take over the pop/r&b music scene. Growing up listening to the soulful sounds of Motown, and being a kid raised by VH-1, MTV, and BET puts Michael in a position to do nothing but perform. The sounds that have probably have had a big influence on the music he makes; would be Motown, 70's soul, 80's pop, Pop Rock, House, R&B, Dance, Electronica, Gospel, Jazz, Neo-Soul, and Hip-Hop. Like most music legends, this young man has grown up singing non-stop. If it wasn’t The Little Rock Baptist Church Choir, then it was The Mumford High School Classical Choir. This young man was relentless, always knowing, and never doubting what he wanted to do and be. Well, unfortunately for Michael, he didn't come from a family of dreamers. For them it was kind of hard to have an imagination of what could be; when you could just rely on going to school, getting a good job, and having that great corporate America certainty. For Michael, the traditional way was not an option. May 2005, Michael Syfax left his home in Detroit to conquer the New York City challenge of being discovered amongst thousands of other talented folks who came for the same reason. Trying to make it all happen in one week was his mission, but as we make mistakes, we grow. He realized that he needed to do two things. Be patient. Be persistent. Now Michael is well on his way. He is working hard to live in New York City, and following his dream with tunnel vision. These days Michael has been on his grind. Every week a packed schedule of writing, recording, vocal training, dance rehearsal, performing, promoting, and whatever else he finds to advance himself. His mission is to show any and everyone that, with persistence, dedication, long-suffering, and the power of the GOD; DREAMS DO COME TRUE; Regardless of any unfavorable circumstance.
