About 3 years ago my husband phoned me at work in Germany to ask what I thought of possibly moving to San Diego, USA. His company had a job opening there. At first I wasn't sure, as I had never even been to the States, but after reading the first few pages of a travel guide, I phoned him back and told him he should definately apply! Maybe the fact that Germany was heading into Winter helped me decide! He got the job and a year later we arrived. I have the H4 visa, which is the "accompanying spouse" visa, which means that I am not allowed to work. We had been thinking of starting a family for a while before this, and so decided this would be the perfect time to do so. I was still thinking of counting the days of my cycle and stuff like that, when I realised that I was already pregnant. Kevin was born almost 4 weeks early, he obviously didn't have time to wait until the 9 months were up. He is still a very busy little boy and HATES doing boring things like getting a new nappy/diaper on.Kevin got Geotrax for Christmas and LOVES it. We quite like playing with it too!We made biscuits the other day. Kevin could hardly wait to try the end result (after eating the nuts that were supposed to be put on them before they were baked too!)
