I'm really into comic books and their characters (especially Batman) and all the various other media outlets involved with them. The big comic book movie boom right now is great. I studied to learn to draw as well as I can and move toward a career in comic book art, animation, movie concept art, or something that involves me drawing characters. Now that I've graduated I need to go out and get into that job market. I'm also a fledgling film actor, thanks to my buddy, director Nick Gyeney. Lots of fun doing that.I love basketball: playing, watching, whatever. I like sports and athletic activity all around. I'm big into my music, too. I play bass guitar. Even though my picture shows me playing a guitar, I don't really know how to play a six-string.I love just hanging out and not having to do anything. Summer is great.
First of all, your mom. As far as real people, uh, I don't know. Whenever I meet people who I sort of look up to (like members of bands I listen to), I never really have anything to say. I don't want to be some fan boy who's just like "Huh, huh. Uh, yeah, that was great. You're cool." I should meet a comic book artist or an animator, because I'm guessing a lot of them would be nerdy types eager to engage like minds in conversation. Now here's a band I like... width="425" height="350" .. Candiria - Without Water.. width="425" height="350" .. Hot Water Music - Paper ThinHelmet - Biscuits for Smut
I listen to all kinds of rock, but heavily on the heavy side of things. Aside from all the Metal, I like hip-hop (especially real spacey stuff or stuff with real instruments), and jazz; I guess what you would call Free Jazz. I don't know a lot of jazz, but I'd like to get acquainted with more. Batman: the Animated Series and The Simpsons are like my top two shows of all time. Also: The X-Files, Family Guy, Ninja Turtles, South Park, Freaks & Geeks, old cartoons like Popeye and Looney Toons/Merry Melodies, and any NBA basketball games on TV. Oh, and I almost forgot frickin' Conan O'Brien. That's a great one. Also SNL, particularly the mid-'90's troupe, and The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross.
I don't read a lot of books, but Jurassic Park is the best book-reading experience I've ever had. I also liked the Redwall books when I was younger and I've enjoyed the Kurt Vonnegut books that I've read. Oh, yeah, the Tolkien books were great too. I read more comic books/graphic novels. Really, mostly just Batman stuff. The Dark Knight Returns, The Long Halloween, Dark Victory, Batman: Year One, Robin: Year One, Batman: Black & White. Also, Conan with art by Cary Nord & Thomas Yeates Tim Sale (the black & white picture up there) rules
Batman!!!!!!!!!!!! Also King Kong, Marty McFly, Leonardo (the turtle, not the artist), and Tom Smykowski
