About Me

Hello and thanks for coming to visit me. If you're not already a friend please feel free to add me. I will be sure to drop by and check out your space and say hello.
About me!
I grew up in a small East Coast town of Australia called Currumbin. We're famous for the beaches, a bird sanctuary, and Natalie Grewzleski. I first realized I could sing when I was about nine. I used to do a bit of acting in highschool too...and almost decided on a career in theatre at one point. I got started playing the guitar when I was about 15 years old after the guitarist in the band I sang backing vocals in showed me the chords to “Every Rose has its Thorn”. I’m never going to be Jimi Hendrix, but I learnt enough to start writing songs…none of which you’ll hear on here I’m relieved to say – but we all have to start somewhere! I finished my final year of highschool at 16 and went on a student exchange to Italy which was amazing, scary, foreign and life changing all at once. Some friends and I started writing songs together and I realized how universal music is, connecting people who don’t even have the same mother tongue.Having spent much of the past few years travelling, I've used the experiences I've had in the places I've lived to fuel my creativity. From my trips abroad to Europe and the US, to the tiny London flats I've called home, I've tried to experience as much as I can in hopes of writing the best music possible. The best songs come from just living life; the more you live, the more you have to write about. So that's what I've been doing, living and writing. I’ve been blessed to have worked with some amazing people/musicians… Chris Ryan , Geoff Gascoyne, Oli Hayhurst, Matt McDonough to name a few. I hope the songs of my heart resonate with yours and perhaps make you feel understood or at least bring a smile or a tear. If you like what you hear, please share the music with your friends :0) The plan is to have another album done and released this year, so stay tuned for that. Many of the demos on my myspace will be on it! ... Thanks for listening! Here's what each of the songs here are about:
Real Love- This is about being afraid to love for fear of being hurt. Being afraid to be vulnerable with someone. It's a song which says let go, let your heart be out there. It's a song of reassurance...and lucky for me all the words have turned out to be true so far.
Only For You- This is quite simply a love song. It's about finding your soul mate and beginning a journey with them through joy and sorrow - a journey to perfect love through the amazing experience of a relationship. It goes into Italian halfway through...basically saying the same thing :-)
Never Say Goodbye - I wrote this song for Caroline's Rainbow Foundation with Tom Donald who you can hear tinkling ever so sweetly on the piano. The charity was set up in the name of murdered back packer Caroline Stuttle which aims to educate young travellers about safety when abroad. You can buy this song and donate to the foundation all in one go by visiting:
Caroline's Rainbow Foundation website
Please check back for Natalie’s Debut Album. When it’s out, this will be the first place you’ll hear it.
