Influences: Surf, Exotica and Trash Rock 'n' Roll of the 50's and 60's
Sounds Like: Dublins first and only surf band, The Sting Wrays, hailed from landlocked suburbia. Outsiders in their community, they were destined for failure. Like fish out of water they were dragged from their garage to a local stage were they tore through their set like their lives depended on it. Thirty minutes or so of ear-piercing twang, trash through a wave of outrages spring reverb is all the audience got, as a matter of fact thats all they ever got.

This nonsence caused a mere ripple in the musical world.........
